Coupelle Plate

This plate was carved from reclaimed wood offcuts collected from the artist’s friend, who creates sculpted furniture using only local wood sourced from the Hauts-de-France region. By carving and oiling these wood fragments, the artist extends the life of the offcuts, allowing them to hold food and regain a daily function.
