Standing Spoon

This spoon was carved from wood sourced by the artist on daily walks along the lost ways and through the woodlands of Somerset, UK. Resembling three-dimensional line drawings, the singular forms and composite assemblages are poised, just on the point of balance, held in delicate tension between motion and statis.
